A flantastic Thank You Party
A great evening, being able to say thank you to our many helpers in Bishopsgarth and Elm Tree. Without them delivering leaflets all the year round and not just at eleciton time, as well as all the lots of extra work in the run up to the election, not only could councillors not do their job properly, but we wouldn't have won the election.
So time to say thank you with a nice buffet and refreshments.
Husband John, known more for attention to detail than culinary flair, had designed a fruit flan for us with the Bird of Liberty taking centre stage. Two smaller one's (using up the fruit!) had a J and an E (for Julia and Elliot) in the centre too. Here is the pic - and delicious too !
